Gilles is loving his Torino. He said when it arrived in France it had to go to a shop to make sure it complied with French rules for the road.
He said the guy who owns the mechanics shop said every day people came by and asked if they could take a photo of themselves
with the Torino. The fire department stopped and asked if they could use it in the upcoming Bastille Day parade...which they did.
The fire department stuck on some magnetic stickers on the torino promoting the fire department for the parade. The fire chief and another fire fighter dressed up like starsky and hutch to drive it in the parade.
